FINDING SOMEWHERE TO LIVE
Let’s listen to the conversation between Janet and Doris. Doris is looking for a new place to live.
| Janet: |
Hi, Doris, how are you doing? |
| Doris: |
Hi, so glad to see you! I've been running around trying to find new accommodation. |
| Janet: |
Why's that? Is there a problem with the apartment you are in now? |
| Doris: |
No, but I have to move out by the end of the month. So I'm looking to rent another one by myself or with roommates. |
| Janet: |
I see. What kind of places have you been looking at? |
| Doris: |
I've been looking at one- or two-bedroom apartments in the same area. But there are not many of them. It's a real headache. |
| Janet: |
If you still haven't found anywhere to live by the time you have to move out, you can come and stay with me for as long as you need. |
| Doris: |
